I had a question regarding my van I purchased about 5 years ago. My van had been making ratteling noises whenever I go anywhere. I just changed my brakes, struts, springs and stabilizer linkage bars thinking the ratteling would go away but I did not. I'm under the inpression the ratteling noise is coming from the caliper possibly being loose or back to the stabilizer linkage or bars. My family has a number of these particular type of vehilcles and they all seem to be the exact same for producing noises and ratteling. Is this a possible flaw from the manufacturer or just straight natural wear and tear? I purchased the van at 32000 kms over 5 years ago and the noise was not that bad then

If you hear a clunk / rattle when hitting bumps, replace the strut plates.
