When I turn I can hear a popping and grinding noise from the front end and sometimes going down the road at a low speed. When I drive at a speed above 50 mph I don't hear the sound at all. The mechanic says everything is tight and sees nothing wrong. What could it be?

I was told by a mechanic that the cv joints are fine. Someone told me that it may be the sway arm bushings. Is this possible?

I hear it more when I take a right hand turn but it can also be heard sometimes whewn turning left or just going straight at very low speeds. You can sometimes feel it in the sterring wheel.
