2002 Dodge Caravan Engine revving

I have noticed that my engine is revving and sounds too loud like it is trying to work "too hard". I changed the serpentine belt myself and it still squeaks a little also.

Check for leaks or cracks in the vacuum hoses. That will cause you high idle(reving)
