2002 Dodge Caravan Blower motor and resistor

2002 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Automatic

I changed the blower resistor caus heat settings only work on high and thats somtimes. The new resistor same problems after about a day or two. Could it be the blower motor causing the resistor to not work?
