2001 Dodge Caravan Injector #6 not operating

Hooked noid lite to #6 and lite stays on - Thought it was a computer problem - Changed out computer and lite is still on

I drove Van from Indy to Cincy, worked great, drove around some and went to restaurant, when I left restaurant, it ran horrible, white smoke and gas coming from exhaust

hi, sounds like it needs replacement, its intermittent but is only going to get worse, when the vehicle was blowing all of the smoke, that was because it was stuck open(not seated) and was dumping fuel into the combustion chamber causing a "rich" condition, before replacing, just check its wiring for trouble.

Wire is unplugged from injector, noid lite plugged into injector wire - Lite stays on extremely bright

ok then that would have something to do with the wiring, or the drivers inside the ecm(computer)
