I am getting hot air out of my driver's side of the heater but the passenger's side is getting nothing but cold air. Is is time to try a new heater/ac control unit or do you think there is something else going on here?

Chances are you are looking for a vacuum leak in this case. The vent door actuators are run by vacuum. I recommend checking under the dash for damaged or disconnected vacuum hoses. When looking, start the engine and if you're lucky, you may hear a hissing coming from a leak.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions, and thanks for using 2carpros.com.
