MY VAN IS ACTING LIKE IS GOING TO TURN OFF EVERY TIME I PUSH THE PEDEL IT PULLS BACK IT ACTS LIKE IT'S GOING TO TURN OFF I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE I THINK THAT IT MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE GAS FILTER BUT NOT SURE I REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS SO I CAN FIX IT ASAP...THANK YOU!!

Hi:
Is the check engine light on? If so, I would stop at one of the nationally recognized auto parts stores and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Even if the light isn't on, let them check. If you get a code, it will tell us where to start looking.

If you get no code, I would move to the fuel system. Have the pump pressure / volume checked.

Keep in mind, this could be something as simple as a vacuum leak.
