2001 Dodge Caravan Had shocks and struts replaced

Just paid $1,100 to have shocks and struts replaced and I don't notice any improvement in the ride. Still as bumpy as ever. Could this have been due to another problem - not the shocks and struts? Thank you.

how bumpy is it? can you bounce the car by hand? maybe have softer schocks and springs, put on. allow them to wear a bit before you think they bad, they need to get broken in a tad and they will loosen up, give it a week.
