the gauge at first read more than was put in. then later read what WAS put in. EX, on empty, put 5 gallons in,
read half tank. next day read quarter tank.
not too much of a problem, went on a long trip and filled up tank 3 times, on third time gauge stuck at 3/4 full. was like this for several days. we knew this was wrong. a week gone by and just keep track of mileage thinking it might be a gauge. today went to put 5 gallons in, still reading 3/4 full, the fuel nozzle shut off. i continued to slowly fill and the fuel began to come out of the fill tube as if the tank was full??

what could be this problem? the fuel float clogging the filler next??
thanks hank
