2000 Dodge Caravan transmission fluid

2000 Dodge Caravan

i overfilled my transmission with fluid and it started to slip.so i draind some out it turned cloudy . will the fluid go back to normal or is it garbage.

you should be ok , but I would do what is called a transmission service. which will change the filter and remove all the fluid let it drip for an hour or so, then put the correct amount of fluid in, just to be sure. it may not be absolutely necessary, unless you can really get a good reading from the dipstick to indicate the correct amount, because you still may have too much., the cloudiness, is actually air.
