i have a problem with my 2000 dodge grand caravan
when i put into gear it dosent catch , i then have to press the brake , and at the same time give it gas , then jerks into gear . the transmission fluid as never been changed . could this be the problem ??

Try replacing the fluid and filter and see what happens-don't work get it pressure tested to find out more what's going on internally with the transmission
