my dodge caravan locks automatically when I begin to drive forward. is there any way to turn off the automatic locking mechanism?

This can be reprogrammed with the Chrysler scanner, called the DRB3, (diagnostic readout box). Some dealers will do this for free or for a low charge, especially if you take it to the dealer who sold it new.
