A few days ago, the battery went dead and the car wouldn't start. I fully charged the battery and hooked it back up. The interior lights came on and won't turn off, even after the proper waiting time after closing the door or when I start the car. Except for the lights in the lift gate, which remained on, I did get them to go off by pulling the IOD fuse, after which they didn't come on until I opened the door. With the lights on, I moved the the panel dimmer switch to the "interior lights on" position. Surprisingly, this turned the overhead console lights off but the rest of the lights remained on.

Where do I start and what are the most likely culprits? Relays, fuses, BCM?

Thanks,

Faulty door ajar switch is most common reason for this to occur. Try lubricating all door latches with WD40. Sometimes the door ajar switch in one of the door latches will stick and this will loosen it up
