2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.3L v-6, was advised the Oxygen Sensor had caused a code and need replacement. Removed air-plenum and vacumn hoses, and replaced. Now at startup engine revs to 3000 rpm before slowing to 2500 rpm? I've checked and rechecked all vacumn connections, EGR tube, etc... Any suggestions?

Hi Joe2229,

Thank you for the donation.

When idling speed incrases, it usually is due to vacumn leakage. Recheck and test installed items for vacumn leakage by spraying with carb cleaner. If engine speed changes, leakages are present.
