Engine Performance problem
2000 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 154761 miles

My Caravan sounds just like a Briggs & Stratton lawn mower when I can get it started. We were on our way home. About 11 miles to go and we heard a really loud flapping sound. Pulled over to check it out and the van stalled. When I got it restarted, it sounded like a lawn mower and shook violently. There is a really bad raw fuel smell fro it as well. What do you think from the sound of the question?

Sounds like a plug or injector has come out. The compression is leaking out and that cylinder is unable to produce power, just spew air. The raw fuel is coming out with the air.
