NOTE: It is not necessary to remove wiper module to access main unit blower motor resistor. Auxiliary blower motor resistor is not serviceable separately. If auxiliary blower motor resistor is faulty, replace entire blower motor unit.

BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR
Removal & Installation (Main Unit)
1.Open hood. Locate blower motor resistor on passenger's side of firewall, below wiper module. See Fig. 13 . Disconnect connector from resistor. Using a screwdriver, pry on side of resistor and push inward to remove. Two guide lines on right side of resistor are for positioning of screwdriver. 2.To install, reverse removal procedure. Make sure word TOP is on top of resistor when installed. Resistor coils should not be contacting one another. If coils are contacting one another, gently separate coils with fingers before installation.
