In traveling here from out of state to move my son home, my serpentine belt broke off, the bottom pulley had failed; both need replacement. I am pretty mechanical but not familiar with all things automotive. I need the name and preferrably the part number for the belt and the pulley that self imploded. An engine diagram of the pathway with these parts labeled and the length needed for my vehicle would be awesome. I was supposed to work tomorrow back home but now have work in chicago that takes precedence. I have tryed a few mechanics over the phone but no one can get to it until next week, and with their rates over a hundred an hour I thought I could buy a set of tools and put this part in but the autozone guy wasnt a mechanic, although he did his best, and couldn't help me find the right pulley.

The part you want is the crankshaft damper, and I show 2 belts not 1. Here's the diagram.

You want to rent the puller at autozone, they return your money when you bring it back. Remove the center bolt, fasten the puller onto the damper and remove the damper by turning the puller with a wrench, it will pull the old damper off the crankshaft.
