1999 Dodge Caravan 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 116k miles

smoke coming from motor, maybe the starter. loud scraping or grinding sound and contiued to run after keys were removed.

Sounds like the starter motor is constantly engaging the engine-check and test the starter relay and ignition switch-let me know
