1999 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

MY HUSBAND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO REPROGRAM THE COMPUTER TO A '99 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. HE BOUGHT THE COMPUTER AT A JUNKYARD AND DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO REPROGRAM IT. IS IT DIFFICULT TO DO? SHOULD I TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC TO REPROGRAM IT? CAN YOU HELP ME? THANKS!

Which computer is it? Also, are the part numbers the exact same as the old ones? If they are, it shouldn't need reprogramed. If it does, a dealer will need to do it.
