I recently had my check engine light come on so I had someone pull the codes for me. It is telling me " opened or shorted fuel injector" and Open or short in electrical circuit". In laymens terms what does this mean? Do I need to have the fuel injector replaced and if so how do I do this?

Basically, the power that goes to the injector is being interrupted and stopped. It could be an inkector or the wiring to the injector. You would need to check continunity in the wiring to see if it good.
