Hi:
Did one of the brakes lock up? Also, it is normal for the brakes to get hot. They use friction to stop. However, they shouldn't be smoking. Did that happen?

Finally, in the future, spraying rotors that are very hot with show or cold water can cause them to warp. You may want to avoid that.

Let me know.

Joe

Yes it is possible that the brakes locked up it slowed the van way down almost to a stop, but then hour late I was able to jump in and it ran great everything worked just fine. Thanks I know that the brakes get hot but these were smokin something was really hot. So something is causing the brake to lock up what could that be? How about the master cyciliner Thanks for the information, thanks for the help.

Hi:
I never know how much knowledge people have so I try to be as specific as possible. As far as the heating problem, smoking is a problem. Either a caliper is sticking or they over adjusted the park brake. I doubt the master cylender is the problem.
