My anti-lock trouble light came on I it took in for service. They said main unit needed to be replaced costing $800.00-$1000.00. I'm not working and the brakes still work so I didn't fix. Now I received my environmental test notice and it says they cannot test your car with and error showing.
Is there a way to shut that warning light off so they can do environmental test?

You can reset the light, but it will come right back on. Have you checked for a used unit from a salvage yard?
