Check engine light on for app 2 weeks. Engine was running fine while sitting waiting for coffee fix to be handed through drive in window, lights flickered on radio and instruments then engine died. Tried to restart, nothing. No clicking, no turning, just dead. Cleaned off battery posts, nothing. While in accessory, the power locks work, but windows do not. Battery good. Bright green light. After it sat for a week, started fine then died 2 minutes later. Dead again. Towed to high school shop. After a week, visited and woke up high school auto shop student out from my back seat and tried starter, starter fine. Recharged battery, engine still dead, not turning. High school teacher perplexed.

Hi, if the battery has a full charge and connections are good, if starter won't crank, I'd have to check the circuits at the starter relay, any testing, make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set. Terminal 30 is hot all the time. Terminal 86 goes hot with the key in the start position. The pcm grounds coil side of relay, if you have security system, that is possible issue. Any codes?

I might add that the power windows, locks and windshield wipers and radio do not work either. (And I was mistaken on the mileage, 283,000 miles.) We also noticed that the speedometer needle is on 120 MPH. Not sure if this is anything but the gas gauge does not move in acc either.

Sorry, the van doesn't run so they cannot get a code. Is it possibly the computer module?

I'd have to check feed circuits to and from the ignition switch. Voltage feed for power windows, goes hot when you turn the key on.
