1999 Dodge Caravan 3.0L 111,000 miles. Wife said the Check Engine light was on and the motor was chugging. When she got home, it sounded like a spark plug wire was off, but wasn’t. I drove to AutoZone, computer showed codes P0201, and 2 P0301’s. I drove home to check #1 injector and injector wiring. Searched internet couple hours first – jiggled wire, twisted injector back and forth, started, problem gone. Drove to Auto Zone to reset/delete and codes stayed off. When pulling out of parking lot it happened again. Minivan sat overnight and in morning, problem gone. Took neg cable off 15 min. And went for test drive, after warmed up and then hard acceleration, happened again. While searching another forum I found a way to check codes with odometer. 1st time, it went through a series of gauges moving on my instrument panel and said chec 1, then chec 3. Tried again and flashed 23 then 55. What does this mean? . Are there known heat related issues with a problem like this? Does this automatically mean my PCM is bad? Do I just need to use some injector cleaner? Any suggestions or advice? Thanks - MSTeacher
