I have a 99 dodoge caravan with about 120,000miles on it. While I was driving today it died on me and I haven't been able to get it started since. The check engine light did not come on at all.I am stumped. Any suggestions?

First thing to check is the fuel pump. Turn the key to the on position and see if you hear a high pitch whine for a few seconds. Also tap on the fuel tank with a hammer while someone else cranks the engine over to see if it starts. If so replace the fuel pump. If not unplug the harness going to the pump to see if you have power, if so replace the pump. If not, let me know and we'll dig deeper.

I had my dad look at it and it seems to be blowing the engine fuse. Maybe a bad wire?

Yes it's very possible that the fuel pump relay/fuse could be bad. If not, try what I told you then we'll go further. Anyway good luck. :)

If it's blown, replace it. That could be a problem too. They're inexpensive.

Lol.I guess I should be more specific. My husband bought two of them yesterday and replaced it. When he would turn the key it would blow. They checked the fuel pump and don't think that is the problem. Like I said.I have no Idea. Lol
