My turn signals work at times than just stop. There are times when I first start the car, especially when it it is very cold, I notice the ignition switch does not retract back all the way and my signals do not work. If I physically turn the ignition back a bit, my signals will begin to work. However, there are other times when no mater how much I jiggle or turn the ignition switch, my signals will not work. There are times when I have the signal on to make a turn and before I make the turn it willl just go off. Everything else works fine, just my turn signal issue. Does the ignition switch have anything to possibly do with this problem?

I don't think the ignition key has anything to do with your problem, except the fact that it is located close to the turn signal switch. I believe your problem is within the multi-function switch. Here is to test it.

Thanks Zachman, I reallly appreciate your response. One question... Why when at times I mess with the ignition my signals begin to work? Is the ignition switch tied at all to the turn signal function? Or is it just a coiencident?

Thanks for your help,

John

I believe that just coincident. Your key is located just a hair from the multi-function switch. There is a chance that while you are pushing and shoving the key, you "engage" the turn switch to make connection, and other times, no matter what you do, it won't make a difference.
