1998 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I had a rebuild transmission installed in my van and the first snow we had I was driving it and the front tires slipped a little on the way home. When I drove it the next time I noticed the transmission was slipping, when I try to pull out at a stop sign it would sit there and tack up and not move at first. the speedometer even would occasionally just go way up while driving. I have been told so many different things that is wrong with it, I just don't know.

The shop that put the transmission in is no longer there. I hardly ever go anywhere, so it has been quite a while but less than 3000 miles are on the trnasmission. I have people say it is not the transmission it is this or that. Could you give me your opinion?

Thank you

I would check the tranny fluid and make sure level is correct
and seek a local tranny shop for a road test and check
