While driving my vehicle with the AC on sometimes thick fog starts pouring out of passanger side vents. Also I started having trouble with the vehicle dying on me while driving. I pull over and it usually starts right back up. The last time it took a couple of times to turn over though. Could this be something serious? Are the two problems related?

Could be a leaking heater core, the "fog" could be steam...check the coolant level, and have a pressure test done at a radiator shop.
