Engine Performance problem
1998 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Automatic 115000 miles

Ok, a few weeks ago the serpentine belt fell off my 98 dodge caravan. We had a new belt put on. Now this belt actually got wrapped around the pulleys and shredded. I put on a new belt and tensioner. Now the van will not crank. My first thought was that the battery was dead from sitting there a couple of days. We tried jumping it. That didn't do it. It turns over but will not actually crank. Any suggestions as to what it might be?

See if the belt tore up the front camshaft sensor connector or wiring.
