is it safe to drive even though I have a bad rear main seal leak? My mechanic told me it was ok to drive for another week or so as long as I kept lots of oil in it. I can't get it fixed until two more weeks. Can i still drive it?

Just keep checking an adding oil. You will be killing birds and water critters so keep an eye out for zealot enviromentlist.
