Can I easily replace the oil drain pan myself or do I need the assist of a mechanic?

You will need to drain the oil first disconnected the battery and raise the car up here are diagrams (below) that will help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
