When I am driving my van all the gauges on the dash turn off and the abs light comes on. What would I need to do to try to fix this problem. We have tried changing out the computer but that didn't do anything, is there anything else we can do to try to fix this without taking it into a shop? Also the check engine light has come on and we have gotten it checked at an auto parts store and it came up with the code P1698. What should we do?

Need new cluster and or you can remove it and fix it
have to remove cluster and take apart re solder the connector pins to the board
put back and check if all
reset codes and drive it if code p1968 return
suspect bad PCM and you may need to have it replace d

Where would the cluster be located at on the van? My husband wants to know what the cluster is and where to find it.

The instrumentation gauges are contained in a subdial assembly called the instrument cluster

to remove
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove Over Steering Column Bezel by lifting it straight up with a firm pull.
Remove the four cluster bezel attaching screws.
Tilt the steering column in the full down position.
Pull rearward on the cluster bezel and remove.
Remove the four screws holding instrument cluster to instrument panel.
Rotate top of cluster outward.
Disconnect the cluster harness connector.
Remove instrument cluster from instrument panel
