1997 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1997 Dodge Caravan.It stoped running i put a new fuelfilter and pump on.But for some reason the only way it will run is to tap on the gas tank.Do you have any suggestions.

Remove the fuel tank and check for a bad ground wire or any others that may be a problem. Chances are the ground wire is corroded and not making a good connection.
