Trying to replace the left lower front control arm bushing (driver's side) on my 97 Dodge Caravan, but I can't get the bolt to clear part of the transmission housing. Haynes rapair manual says to loosen the suspension undercarriage, but that doesn't affect the the metal framework holding the bushing in place. What's the trick, short of cutting the bolt off (and then figuring out how to get a bolt back in)?
