1997 Dodge Caravan knocking noise in the front end

1997 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive

I have a knocking noise in the front end of my van. I have 3 people telling me different things. There is a stabblizing bar on the passanger side that is broken and i can see that. But i have also been told by some one that drove it and works on semi-trucks that it sounds like a cv shaft. I dont want to spend a lot of money if it really could be the stabblizing bar that is making my van sound like that. It only knocks when i am driving and is a tad bit louder when i turn the car to the right. i really need help with what to do.
