Transmission problem
1997 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl 2 wheel driveAutomatic 130000 miles

Have dodge caravan 3.3 liter, has an automatic transmission; the van goes forward but unable to move when shifted into reverse gear?
What is the problem? Please advice, Pete

transmission blew up internally and needs an overhaul. in these transmissions it is usually the final drive gear assembly that blows up.
