1997 Dodge Caravan airbags abs

i have a 1997 dodge grand caravan se 3.8 the air bag light is on and the abs light is on i checked the fuse 4 the airbags there good and the abs i used a test light at the steering wheel there seems to be no power there and i cant find out way the cruse dont work no power at steering wheel either and the book dosnt say were the fuse or relay is 4 it thaks 4 any help

The ABS you will probably need to have scanned to find out the problem.When it comes to the air bag/steering wheel controls,the PCM (computer) supplies all the power and grounds.A common problem when you lose all controls in the steering wheel and an air bag light is the "clockspring". It is the contact/wiring plate that allows the wheel to turn while maintaining contact to the rest of the wiring.Testing an airbag can get tricky, a scan of the PCM will also reveal the code for the air bag, this will help diagnose the problem
