how do you remove the rear drum on a 97 dodge grand caravan sport?

If you are refering to the brake drum, just remove the wheel and it should come off. If you can't remove it, from the rear of the backing plate, there is a rubber plug. Remove it, and you will see a star adjuster. It is there to adjust the brakes. Loosten the brake shoes to remove the drum.
