96 dodge grand Caravan almost no breaks on pedal push. Pump breaks and they come up, hold pedal and they do not fade. Wait 5 seconds and it goes back to being almost no breaks. Thing is yesterday my break were okay, I noticed they were a little sponger then normal but nothing like the near total loss of today. Any clue to what this can be?

Hunt for a leak. Most likely place is a rear wheel cylinder. A bad leak will dribble down the inside of the tire.
