Engine Performance problem
1996 Dodge Caravan 4 cyl 175000 miles

my1996 dodge caravan. started stalling on me. start it up sounds perfect but when i put it in gear it jumps and shuts off. replaced the camshaft position sensor and and the crankshaft( i think) Battery keeps going dead. What could it be, as a mom of 3 i need answers PLease

Has the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Here is a "how to" for testing fuel pump pressure. It is a video that explains the hows and what to look for.

Many parts stores will rent the gauge. If you can't find one, they sell them at the Test Equipment Store site on this page. they are not very expensive.
