Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Dodge Caravan V8 Automatic 125,00 miles
After driving the car and parking, my engine would not turn over. I thought I had run out of gas (the gas station was my next stop, really!) but even after adding gas to the tank, the car wouldn't start. We towed it to my mechanic who checked it and said he is getting no pressure at all in the fuel pump, and the system has "just shut down". He believes it is the computer which will run $1000 to repair. I love my minivan, but $1000? Could it be time for a new car? Any advice?
