1996 Dodge Caravan broken front left axle

how hard is it to replace a left front axle that has broke? I have done them on other vehicles when I worked in a shop, but never my own at home and on the ground! Please help! Thanks Brian

Same as in a shop, just on the ground. Lift and support the van, seperate the ball joint, remove axle nut, pop axle out of the trans.
