My van starting lurching forward when at stop signs, red lights, etc. Felt like somebody was behind pushing me. Then it started doing it when put in gear (reverse or forward) and has to have gas pushed real hard to move, which makes difficult when parking somewhere and being able to get with hitting someone while having push gas pedal quick and fast. Any Ideas?

Thank you

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Without the check engine light, it becomes a guessing game. I will say what you described sounds like either a bad throttle position sensor (TPS) or idle air control (IAC). I would start by checking them.
