Hello, does it make any noise at all? And I am sure the belt is tight? Couple of things could be wrong, all hydraulics run through this pump and it needs to build and hold a certain amount of pressure, it, like most oil pumps use a check valve, internal to the pump. The noise and feel tells you plenty.
