Just today the van when coming to a stop at say a stop light and you start to accelerate it acts like it's spinning it wheels and can go forward it will eventually and the slower you accelerate the better. It does not do this in reverse just drive. I t also will make an odd sound when going around a coner seems to be coming from the right side.

someone told me it had to be the transmission but the check engine light is not coming on.

Check tranny fluids
should have the CV axles checked ASAP
do you have check engine light on? Check for codes

I suspect AXLE have it checked ASAP before you need a tow truck

We did replace the driver's side axel this summer. So you don't think the transmission would make a sound turning the corner? Is it possible it could be both the transmission and the right front axel?

No check engine light is showing.

Need to check the axle ASAP
as you have two axles
you had replaced one still should check them
