my car won't start and I think it may be the starter or the battery. What tool do I use to take off the cables from the battery to clean the corosion and someone told me that maybe if I lightly tap the starter that I may be able to get it started to drive to the garage

when I turn it on it goes click click click and the window wipers will move rather slowly. What do you suggest

Hi there,

You may have a flat battery, with out seeing the terminals, (there are different sizes) I am unsure but normally if you use a small shifter this will normally get you out of trouble, if you have no luck, a jump start should get you to a mechanic to get this fixed.
