the serpantine belt on my dodge caravan broke. It was simple enought to fix but now the car will turn over but it will not start. What would cause this?

When the belt broke, it may have broken a wire to the crank or cam sensor. Check the engine for broken wires. Also, check to see if you are getting spark to the spark plugs.
