1995 Dodge Caravan "Door Ajar" light and warning t

The door ajar light and warning tone go off constantly. I would like to just disable it as I only use this vehicle for getting to and from work.
I have to keep the dimmer switch on low else the interior lights will flash on/off along with the "dinging" tone and the door ajar light.
I have tightened the connections on all doors including the hatch.
Sometimes the warning will not go off for a few minutes and other times it will not stop.
Smooth roads, bumpy roads, it makes no difference.\

Wel you can bypass it or fix it, I believe you have a faulty button that says that the door is closed, to bypass, just open up the door and locate the button, next take it out and jump the wires you find together, do so on hte other side if it doesnt work. To fix just replace the button.
