1995 Dodge Caravan engine idle surging

1995 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1995 dodge caravan that has an engine idle that surges up and down. thisa is most noticable when car is first started and warming up. it is not as noticable when the vehicle is on the highway but is still there. ive changed the air idle control valve and checked all the vacuum lines but the problem persists.the check engine light was on afew on a few months ago, replaced o2 sensor, no problem since.

Has the check engine light come on? It sounds like a bad throttle position sensor.
