Air Conditioning problem
1995 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Automatic 107000 miles

My 95 Dodge Caravan air conditioning works great--when it's working. But sometimes it will fail to come on right away and I have to drive for 20 or 30 minutes before it starts working. I've had it checked for leaks and refrigerant, and recently had the pressure sensor switch replaced. Everything checks out according to the mechanics I've taken it to. It can go for days working fine, then suddenly not turn on until I've driven for that 20 or 30 minutes. Any advice on what to look for would be much appreciated. -- Thanks

Ok I would check the power train control module on the left (drivers) fender side shield. This unit controls the a/c system as well as the a/c switch sense and a/c clutch engagement and cooling fans and speed of the fans. So next time this happens you need to check to see if there is power coming from the dark blue wire with the orange stripe that comes from that box and goes to the A/C compressor control relay that is in the power distribution box under the hood. If there is no power coming from there then this module is you problem.
